More Parenting Tips.........

My friend Lynette was taking Solee to the park, when Solee (4) decides to share this great tidbit

"My mom bought me really nice conditioner, that will make my hair longer and smoother, but it is really expensive so we are not going to tell Dad" Lynette asks her, "why?" "Oh because he gets mad when my mom spends lots of money, so we just won't tell him."

"These shoes are killing my feet!" Lynette, "then take them off"

"But they are SOOOOOOOOOOO cute!"

Again I have done another great job, by teaching by example, spend, spend, spend all you want, you just don't tell your husband!!! P.S. I did buy a 4 year old Matrix Biolage, she won't be high maintenance at all!!!

by the way if you are looking for the great giveaway, see the next post down!

Not High Maintanance... Well groomed. Not to mention having fabulous taste in Shampoo and Conditioner.

I mastered this life lesson the moment Adam and I were sealed. Maybe that's why I have a closet full of shoes and clothes.

Ahh I love the smell of that stuff.

I gotta say (don't smack me); that is the best thing about a budget...when no one is ready for haircuts the cash in envelope goes to MEMEMEME for products and pedis. No hiding or sneaking- which makes it that much better.

What they don't know won't hurt them.

I use biolage too. Well, it's really suave but the bottle says it works just as well as biolage.

I definitely purchase Suave for the kids (Suave WITH smoothers, so no tangles for them to cry about), and the good stuff for ME!

I don't even know what I use. It's green and smells like apples.

I LOVE Biolage! It is the GREATEST but since there are 5 of us and it is much eaiser to buy one shampoo and one conditioner that everyone can use--I have to stick to Pantene or Herbal Essences!

My 2 year old wouldn't wear her cute bubblegum pink polo with puffy sleeves today because ( and I quote...keep in mind she's 2) "its not cute, I don't like it, its not cute!"...Since when did a 2 year old know what is cute or not? I can see you and I are headed down the same road with our little princesses!

I've seen Starry Night in person too! One of the cooler moments in my life.

I enjoy the pricey Aveda shampoos, but alas, I usually end up with whatever WalMart carries in the organic section.

what's wrong with wendyburd??!!

I have never spent (how much does this cost?) more than $10, and that's for a shampoo and a conditioner...I hate the 2-in-1's!! Is it really that good??

Wendy said...

No it is not a 2 in 1. there is shampoo and conditioner! I love it, and Solee has crazy long thick hair she needed something to work really good!

My hair is MAD thick too, when it was long, it weighed like 10 pounds, no joke, and my braid looked like a horse's tail...when I cut it off before 12th grade, it was like my headaches were cut in half...It's never been longer than to my shoulders since.
