What is the best way to break in brand new hardwood floors?

Projectile Vomit! Yeah, that is what I am talking about!

Thanks for the tip. I'll have to try it out. Think it works OK on carpet?

Is there vomit in this picture? If there is I think my eyes are going bad.

Beautiful floors--who is the vomiter? The vomit is not present right--cause I don't see it and for that I am VERY glad. Weak stomach.

NOPE! No vomit in the photo, I am not that detailed of a blogger to grab the camera and photograph the throw-up! GAG!
Poor Solee has the flu and started throwing up, I don't think she had made it to the toilet once!
and I am actually glad it was the new floor, the carper would have been nasty!!

My #1 was 6 months old when my in-laws moved into a new home, with new carpet. They didn't have all their furniture in yet when she spit up about half of the pink, bubble-gum amoxicillin I'd gust given her. Niiiiice.

I thought "Did I go to Wendy's house?" LOL

I sure puke a lot. When we first got married I puked on the floor in our bedroom. Good thing we had hard wood floors! See, at least it's not carpet!

I guess if it had to be on the new floors, better hardwood than carpet! Yuck. I'm so sorry.

You are so LUCKY! disgusting. I just saw that you live in Logan. I am so jealous. I used to live there till I moved to WY, which I don't much care for.

as a professional vendor of hard wood floors, I would have to concur, Vomit is an excellent way to break them in. It contains just enough moisture, but not too much. The chunks help fill in any natural variations in wood texture.

hahaha at least you know they'll hold up!

That works for carpet and new cars too.

I think my favorite is the kids carseat because you just can't ever get the smell out.
And the stuff that gets caked inside the buckles.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! I bet you were freaking out! It always seems to happen on something nice and new!

Ahhh!! CLEAN IT UP FAST!!

Oh, but your floors are beautiful!

Absolutely! You just can't get that organic shine without a little curdled stomach acid to buff it up!

Blessings!
